Unhappy Only when I am broke!

Just browsing on eBay for some stuff and came across this kick *** valve cover, of course I am broke so I can't get it...#$^%!!!! It is not the same color as the car but it is gold....I may try to contact them when I get some money and see if they can match the paint on my car with their powder coating.

Just see if you can find the color you want in a high temp paint. Clean it up, throw a couple coats of paint on it and you're done!

The valve cover doesn't get as hot as the manifold...

i found wheel paint works great, and has some metalic flec to it, and it cleans up and handles dirt better.

I can rest my hand on the valve cover after driving. It's not exactly comfortable, but it's not unbearable either. Of course, I haven't tried this with the turbo motor, probably gets a little hotter now

All you need to do man is take a little time and clean off your valve cover real well. A little time, a brush, some carb cleaner, and a little love, and there you go. i went through this on mine, did the valve cover red and black, the head black, the intake manifold red, and the block red. Yeah, i like red and black. Anyway, clean the thing up, get some engine paint, and rock it like a hurricane. Its not too tough.
