so, i purchase a maxima 1990 n/a for $250 and i intend on pulling out the engine and various parts off the car to use on my z31 1988 n/a. i am aware i can not use anything off the maxima that has a sensor to work on the z31. i have read some stuff on doing mods to z31s with swapping maxima parts. so far, as i can tell there are a lot of things that are not the same as on my z31 (exp. cruise control, power steering pump. rack and pinion, electric cooling fan, altinator, a.c.compressor....). i was wondering if anyone can give me a better scope of what can actually be used and what can not be used and what mods i can do to put in my '88 z31 2x2 n/a? i am novice mechanic and could really use a professional knowledge, and or enlighten opinion on this matter. can i swap the power steering pump and rack and pinion pump off the 90'maxima on my 88' z31 2x2? any help would be so welcomed and needed.

 

The TPS should be the same.
