Question Battery ground location

Almost done with my auto to manual swap and it's been a couple months what with me working and figuring out college stuff . As of now , just waiting for the driveshaft to be re-tubed so it fits the 2+2 and finishing stuff up !

To the matter at hand : Since it's been so long since I've unhooked everything , I can't remember where to hook up the ground from the negative battery cable. I know it hooks up to trans bolt but can't remember which one ! I'll post photos later today after work . I just want to make sure I hook it up to the right place because I know how touchy Z's are with electronics so if you can help out, it would be great!

Also, there's a metal bracket that's zip tied up the ground cable a little ways that looks like it needs to bolt to something but I can't recall where that goes either .

if you have the original cables there would be a square copper flag crimped to the cable about 5inches from the terminal. An M8 bolt connects to the frame there in a hole behind the battery and a little to the left of the holddown. The original cable terminal end for the bell housing is made to fit in one spot that is obvious. If you don't have those things you will need to improvise a good ground and terminate wherever convenient on the bell housing bolts. Couple of 10 gage wire from the terminal to either side of the engine room will work. terminate on one of the many M6 bolts available and use an extra long bolt on the battery terminal to accomadate the ten gage stuff.
