Crank timing sprocket removal, please help

Hello and thanks for all your input on this forum.

I have 1985 300zx na 2+2

I will be drilling and tapping and then pulling the crank timing sprocket.

2 questions....

Do I pull the sprocket over the woodruff key or pull the woodruff key first?

After I drill and tap the crank sprocket can I reuse it?

THANKS!
Jim

You pull it over the woodruff key, you can't remove the key unless its showing more than half. I would use a new sprocket for sure. Soak it in penetrant or something for a while first, easier to remove.
