I wanted to put a small block v8 in my 86 300zx, i know its been done before i just dont know where to begin and need help!! also if a twin turbo set up would fit in the 300zx with a v8 conversion??

I included a link for the s130 parts from motorsports, on the older Z's is pretty much a direct bolt in with all the parts they supply, not sure if any of the parts would be usable in the Z31 swap, Im sure your looking at a fair amount of fabrication. why spoil a perfectly good z31? my buddy is getting 300 on the dyno with his twin to my baby and she is good for 250. the 86 is the prettiest of that lot

Is it a safe assumption that you've never done a motor swap before? Because if you had, I don't think you'd be asking "where do I start?".

A twin turbo V8? Only if you want your body and your car's body in the grave yards...
