Ok so I bought an old rusty 1986 automatic turbo z31 for $700, and then I bought a clean 5spd 84 N/A for $400 the guy said he pulled from his demo line and didnt try starting it, but i got the engine running smooth after playing around with it for a couple hours. I am planning on taking out the N/a motor and swapping in the vg30et from my '86. I'm just wondering what will I need for the swap? the 5spd transmission I'm hoping is still good, the clutch is limp right now so I'm hoping theres just air in the clutch or needs a new master. I'm hoping to pull both engines, and just swap them. Do I only need to swap motors and ecu's? Any help is appreciated.
