im looking at either putting
VG30 DE DOHC Engine & Manual 5 Speed Transmission 90-96 - Engine & Transmission - Nissan & Infiniti
or
VG30 DET DOHC Engine & Manual 5 Speed Transmission 90-95
and i was wondering if there's any modifications i would have to do to throw either one of these in it.
and yes i have looked around on the internet and no i cant find any threads on either of these 2 motors. unless i'm blind lol

Lots of info about the VG30DE and VG30DETT swap into a Z31... but as with any motor swap, "difficulty" depends on your experience, and bank account balance.

 

they don't just "drop in" if that is what your are thinking.

 

lol i know they dont just drop in i would have to get custom motor mounts and oil pans for both.
And NismoPick its not the dett its just the det lol. but i thank you for the link to the dett i might go with that now

 

For the sake of swapping and wiring, they are virtually the same thing.
