hi, i have an 84 non turbo 5 speed 300zx, my air in the inside, no matter what i put the settings on-defrost, bi level, etc- will only come out from the defrost vent way up from by my windshield. i took out the air control unit to make sure it was all connected right and it is. So can some body help me to check what else should be right or does anyone have any suggestions?

 

I dont know muh about the z31 air controls. But if is vacuum controlled like the 280zx, then you may have a vacuum line that is disconnected or cracked somewhere.

wow, well how much would it cost for a shop to do that for me? cuz personally that is way to much work for me to do on something i have limited knowledge on. also i just broke the back hatch window glass. does any one know who i can call or where i can get another one for cheap? i've looked around but the lowest i saw was out of black dragon auto with a price of 400 dollars. can anybody help me here?

thank you but i checked that site and i can not for the life of me find anything close to me. no body close to me or around me has the part i need. they keep telling me its going to be hard to find because it is a 2+2 model. i really dont want to have to buy a new glass for 400 dollars. is there any other options i am over looking?

duh, thanks i forgot about that. i found a tranny on there but no luck on finding a back glass anywhere remotely close to me

 

Where are you located. I know of a 2+2 hatch that a local guy is dying to get rid of.
