I wanted to get the original leathers reapolstered(sp?), but the guy quoted us 1400$. Im on a budget looking in the 500-600$ range.

anyone have any good suggestions?

 

wow.. for $1400 you could find some pretty good lightweight racing seats. That seems a bit too high to just reskin the seats, my advice would be to go to more than just one shop(if that's what you did) and see what other places quote you.

 

Yeah, I have a few rips in my Z31's seats too. I just put some leather seat covers on them for much less, and I'm good to go! IMHO, it just wasn't worth it to pump that much more money into a car that's gettin' on with age...
