Hi all. I was just wondering if anybody in here has any particular bumper that they think looks good on a 1986 style 300zx.
Im asking cuz in the near future i'd like to see if i can change my bumper. I actually like the 87-89 bumpers but they dont fit..so tuff nuts i guess.
If anybody knows a way to make the 87-89 bumper fit...know of a similar bumper that will fit my 86...or just simply know of a kick-*** bumper...please post

 

depends on which bumper you mean...

both bumpers (front and rear) require you to have th metal support underneath.

front will also require you to have the hood and headlights from the same style or things won't align properly.

 

Ya i remember you telling me this on a similar thread a while ago. Is it even possible to swap the headlights from an 87+ 300zx into my 86?

yes. putting the headlights, hood, and bumper from any year Z31 on any other year Z31 is very simple.

Don't know why it would be considered rice.

Well i dunno, i just said that to cover myself. Im used to posting on clubsi, where everything that isn't a performance mod is considered rice. Such hostility over there..its sad really
