You Guys think this will do anything?
You guys think that this will do anything HP wise in a 79 280zx (non turbo)? or should i just add the KN intake?

It's a piece of crap. I can't remember who it was, but one of the major Auto mag. makers did a before and after dyno on a LT1 and they lost like 4 or 5 hp. For $70 you can go scrap yarding, find a bigger TB and buy the spacer off ebay and get an actual gain in power.

i have one installed on my 1996 Mazda 626 V6, and i can tell a big difference in low end power and fuel economy, for example before i had it installed i could get about 380 miles to a tank and run 6.9 sec.0-60 now i get around 400 miles to a tank and run 6.5 0-60. but i didnt pay for mine a friend gave it to me.

OK my brother put one on his Caravan with the K&N and he said it was better with just the K&N. He said the Tornado caused a decrease in Gas mileage and performance so he removed it and went back to just the K&N and is much happier. Now I know this is a mini van but it gives you an idea.
