what would be the easiest color to paint.
The t-top now has 5600 miles since the head gasket was replaced by me. So its now on to body work. Crows feet, millions of chips, flapping fender and a huge cancerous buldge on the door. Its toast the metal work I can now do in my sleep. But I have issues with the fine details. Keeping body lines straight and such. What would be best to hide imperfect panel's? Heard lighter the better? My gut is telling me flat black with luvers and smoked headlight covers and limo tint to finish the car off? Any input. Cheapest I found was macco at 1500 for most likely a hidious job.

Good paint will run you $250-500, borrow a paint gun a spray it yourself. Take you time and practice with it. It sounds like you aren't to worried about the quality to much, so just rattle can it. Primer hides a lot of errors, so probably a flat grey with some kind of gloss stripes?

silver and white are the best to hide mistakes. white is easy to blend if its the same paint code. white has less metalic depending on paint code than silver also making blending easier. lining up the panels isnt hard, its all washers and test fitting a few times you will get the hang of it. do the lineup before paint so no damage occurs.
