Welcome to ZDriver!

Price depends on condition, and how much you are willing to pay.

Pics? Condition? Location?

A picture is worth a thousand words... Can't give you a guestimate with just "37k, not driven in at least 5 yrs".

I 've seen pictures that were a couple years old, but not close up detailed. Looks perfect. I will see tomorrow in person. They are not car people, but say the clutch pedal stays on floor, until u pull it up. Kind of guessing hyd clutch cyl ? If it is truelly great, would 8 K be to much ? This is for me, I literally have 1 mili[lion trouble free miles on Datsuns/Nissans, but never had a "Z car". What else besides tires, hyd clutch cyl, might be a problem ?

More than likely you need to bleed the clutch system, or replace the slave cylinder. That is the weakest part of the clutch system, and the cheapest besides the fluid itself. I had the exact same symptoms multiple times. And it was usually the slave cylinder. Good luck man.

I would personally rather spend $8k on something other than a stock 280zx. The AE is only special because of low production numbers. Other than that it's just a plain old 280zx. But it's your $$$.

Oh Well

To many little things. Wouldn't start, no fuel pressure, some engine leaks.

was gonna say if its been sitting for a long time the fuel system is gonna need some work. some fresh fuel and a whack or 2 on the fuel pump would most likely get it going. new plugs and fuel filter. some engine leaks are trivial. offer them 2500 and see if they jump on it.
