I just got my 1981 280ZX,I will be installing a 1995 LT1 with 4L60E transmission, I will need some technical assistance as I go along has anyone done this conversion before?

Typically better info there for the type of build you are planning. The site's search function can be a problem, so try googling it and then selecting results from HybridZ.

 

You may need to swap to the recirculating ball type steering as it moves the steering shaft to the side instead of thru the path of the exhaust header. Mounts aren't too bad. Jtr made the kit and headers I used but it was a traditional 350 chev build. Everything else I felt was pretty straight forward. I used the Chevy power steering pump with the Datsun threads welded to the output with a tig unit
