T5 short shifter for Turbo T5?
I'm assuming the T5 shifter for the Fox body Mustangs will work with the Datsun 280ZXT Borg Warner T5?

I cut 2" off the stock shifter and had the threaded piece welded back on in the mean time. Works great and it brings the shift **** flush with the accordian boot

I did a similar thing... I got a stock Mustang Foxbody T5 shifter base, then cut the stock 280zx shifter bar, welded on a mounting plate, and bolted it to the Mustang T5 shifter:
