Sickening Pictures, very distraught
Going back to what I was saying about the chrome part.
I have looked and looked, but I still can not find the chrome bar that goes on the body, where the t-top slides into.
Anyone know where spec. I can find it?
Thanks,

I was shopping at walmart one night, it was early 2-3 am and when I came out and was loading my stuff into the car a wrecker pulled up a few cars down backed up to a Ford Explorer, hooked up the tires and dragged it out of there. Dude never even got out of the truck. I was the only witness
That one took maybe half a minute as the rear wheels of the explorer screeched the whole way out of the parking lot and down the road as the ebrake was still locked. So there you have it. An SUV stolen(or repossed, however you want to look at it) in less than 30 seconds and with only one eyewitness in the parking lot of a Super Walmart. Had I stopped for 30 more seconds in the store I wouldn't have even seen it
I used to be fairly close to Omaha when I lived on the south dakota/nebraska border. But now I'm probably a good 8-10+ hours being up here practically on the south dakota/north dakota border. I want to move south though because the winters up here SUCK!!!
thats repo... my buddy was in repo, might still be, he has told me stories like that. its get in get out dont stop for **** if you dont have to cuase lots of poeple are very unstable. they either break down crying on your shoulder or freak out and get VIOLENT. so they dont risk ****
my brother had a truck repo'd once. He used to park it down the street in a friends garage at night and then at work he'd park it in an enclosed dumpster area that was kept locked. He made an arrangement to park his truck in there. It worked for a while til he went to go home one day and his truck wasn't parked in the dumpster
He said the dumpster was still locked and everything. He loved that truck...he's a truck guy

Ok guys,
I have decieded to go ahead with the new frame rails! But here is the thing, I do not have a welder nor do I know how to weld up side down!
This is not a job for me, and I am not trusting when it comes to mechanics!
Does anyone know someone they would trust to do this work in Dallas/Fort Worth?
Thanks,

Mechanics won't be able to help too much... you need someone that knows body work & frame repair. I really think you're going to cause more damage than repair unless you have a pro take care of it. I spent 3 and a half years doing body work in a shop, and replaced almost all of the body panels on my car. My frame rails look a lot worse than yours, but I'm not going to replace them because I cringe at the thought.... It's not an easy job.
It's not really a structural issue, it's simply a rust/exposure issue as has been alluded to before.
I would get under there with a hand held media blaster from Harbor Freight and take off the undercoating on the rails and anywhere you see rust, clean it and then throw a rust inhibitor on it.
This will take care of the immediate need and require very little prep work and no welding.
When you get to the point that the car is running and looking the way you want it and you've decided you have to have them 'replaced', that's when I would go at it.
You can also buy or have 'over-lays' made that will simply cover-up the damaged rails without you having to remove the existing one's.
This can save a significant step in the process.
Good luck!

That is what I was thinking I will take off the old rust, and what not put fiberglass on it sand it down and then put new caps on it. Lastly lay new caps on them.
But it sounds like to yall that isn't really needed.
