The z32 is quickly becoming one of my favorite cars. Out of all the cars
I've driven, R34 included (I lived in Australia for 2 years). Normally, I catch a few glares when I drive from people who have nothing to do but sit with their thumbs of their butts and waste time (I live in a town frequented by tourists), but when I drive Shelby's Z people just openely stare at it. She said it won't cramp her style so I'm planning on getting one myself.

I have to watch whos toes I step on with Shelby's car because her dad knows a ton about cars and doesn't want just anyone screwing with cars hes (semi)-responsible for. If I get my own I can work on it and not worry. As it is the Subi needs another wheel bearing (front this time, easier) and head gaskets.

Anyway this just turned into my personal chat-about-me room.

Here are some new pics.

to be completely honest I hate it when people do this (crappy photo manips in Photoshop), but I also hate it when people cut me off, but I do it to others anyway. Just so we're clear on my overall mentality.

It was either that one or a faded pearl yellow, or destroyed white one. Its more about how it drives than how it looks , for me anyway.

I agree with ya there...... I don't even like white cars, but the best Z I found happened to be white and the color was a low priority during the search.

i actually prefer the grey, and it's called oxford grey btw. white was not my favorite either, and i actually passed over my car quite a few times because i thought it was the Super White, which is about the worst besides the pearl yellow IMO, not Arctic White Pearl. i just happened to be checking a site that had z32 paint codes, and i decided to check, and found that in '95 the only white offered was arctic white pearl, which was the extra cost optional paint that year. i like it way better than the older pearl white, it doesnt have the kinda beigey dull thing going on. when mine is in the sun, the pearl really stands out, and its a nice bright white. it looks like fresh snow. ok, sorry, i'll end my paint tangent here. nice looking Z there ezra and shelby. you two arent too far away, we need to organize another northwest get together.

absolutely. I am down on Carr/43rd/Petrovitsky pretty often. would love to have a face to face chat with another Z owner. Do you by any chance have a link to the years and official color titles and codes? I'm looking to buy a Z now and would like to do a little research.

there is a specific link i am thinking of, it has every paint and interior configuration, the years they were availlable on, and the configurations they came on (ie 2+2, slick, vert etc..).

I wouldn't have asked, but I searched before and all I found was the ZBUM page. Somehow I got the feeling that "yellowish white" wasn't a factory name. But since I'm being called out for it I think I'll ask another stupid question. What is the 'vert.' you refer to in your above post.

thats the list... ive seen someone post it on here to.... hmm... to bad theres no examples of the color.... oh well.. you can search each color on google image im sure and come up with pictures of cars of what it would look like...

and i went to az-zbums site... there some funn FAQ's there... like... why are people such ******** here.. and why are you such an *******... and one response was like... get your thumb out of your *** and blah blah blah... ooo how funny.

EDIT: yeah in washington a convertible would not be worth it... they are uglier IMO convertables are for girls IMO... they are heavier fact and weaker fact... it rains to much there to get your moneys worth since they are "rare" and with the snow you get there also its very possible to trash the rag top.... imo, not a good investment

man i love saying imo lately...
