I have a 79 Datsun 280zx and I was going through it, the previous owner had redone a bunch of stuff, vacuum hoses, wires and everything. It's all messed up and not running. Tons of wires are stripped and are shorting. On the right side of the car beside the battery spot, there is a relay box. Under the relay box is a cluster of wires.. most of those wires are stripped and open. Could that cause the fuel pump to not be working? Anyone have a picture of the proper vacuum hose locations, and proper wiring stuff. (like an real picture, not a blueprint) Also to replace those wires what guage would be best, do I need to just wrap them in electrical tape and hope for the best..
