Radiator for 1980

Hey I found this radiator on ebay and it says its for a 81,82,83 280zx. Will it fit my 1980? I asked the seller and he said his book says 81-83. Do you guys know if there is a difference in the radiator from 79-80 and 81-83? Its a good deal I think.

All radiators from 70-83 are technically interchangeable... but some have tabs in slightly diff locations.

You have to fab a bracket but it fits. There are a few threads on how to mount it.

Looks good and it's three core! This is the E-Bay one? We haven't had any 280ZX aftermarket rads to speak of. MSA just started carrying one so it's nice to see some options!

Yep! Got it off ebay for $150 shipped. 3 core, all aluminum, made by Champion. It bolted right in! Looks awesome and while my Z was running without any trouble (for just one week...lol) it definately made a difference in cooling. But that may not be because of just the radiator... I did throw in a new thermostat and water pump while I had it apart.

Moral of the post... Very pleased with the radiator from Champion off of Ebay.
