Depends on your mechanical skill level... it's not complicated, but time consuming. Just follow the Haynes manual / FSM & you should be able to handle it.

 

personally, i'de just replace it with a re manufactured unit... two things i never skimp on is steering and brakes... just dosnt' pay to risk it when it the cost is usaly so close between doing it your self and getting a new/reman part out of a box.. how much is your time worth to you?

 

Yeah, I took your advise and talked the parts guy down to 187 bucks!

I have the fsm and I don't really want to fool with it! Takes away from my time.
