quick question

When i bought my new 77z the guy gave me a 60mm webber t/b thats supposed to be bolt on unlike the 240sx ones. My question is does any one have this installed on their car and what is it worth?

Are you asking what it's worth money or hp wise?

You could prolly sell it for $50+ on ebay... hp wise it's not going to do anything to a stock motor / intake. You need to bore the intake manifold neck, and use a turbo converted AFM for it to make any diff.

yup. turbo converted afm. intake bore/polish, and a good header system. then you will see a increase. Remember. It takes more then one thing to make power. and they need to work together.

big throttles suck. that's my honest opinion. I've got one of those and I'm keeping the factory throttle on my turbo car.

I ran the MSA 60mm with no porting for a while. Sensative throttle, inconsistant idle speed, and when I went back stock I gained horsepower and torque. well, at least torque. anyway, too sensative for my taste. the stock throttle will do what I need for my hp levels.

I'd say you also need a big cam in there with all the porting for it to be worth it.

i got the big tb, i love it, but to see any diff. you need the mods to back it up. keep it for later if your gonna look for bigger hp numbers, if your going mild, then stick with stock. mine isnt very finicky, and keeps constant speed, but i had to use a tighter spring, they have very weak springs. the big tb is usually the last mod you would do, when stock aint good enough
