Question

I went, looked and bought a 83 na ZX 2 + 2 today at lunch.
I thought all the 2 + 2's had the turned down side window, the side window in this car is just like the one in my 2 seater?????

Turned down side window? I have no idea what that is.....

Are you talking about the door windows? Manually rolled down vs electric switch?

Are you talking about the quarter windows?

All 2seaters have the same quarter window.
All 2+2's have the same quarter window.
2seater quarter windows are shorter than 2+2's, and it's VERY EASY to tell the difference.
The 2+2 roof is also a lot longer (and the car in general).

2SEATER:

2+2:

I have never seen a Z in which a quarter panel can be pushed open...I have seen a Dodge car with one (cannot remember the dang name of that Dodge). I would really like to see that picture of your car, specially the quarter panel close up... woot of getting another car

^^^ All 2+2 quarter windows are hinged so they can be pushed open (for cabin air flow, and for the passengers in the back seat). Some 82-83 2+2's have sliders attached to the back of the center console so they can be opened w/o reaching back to the actual window. 79-81 2+2's were all manual open.

My old 83' 2+2 had the little slider levers on the back of the console to open the quarter windows. That was a neat little feature.
