Oxygen Sensor
Ok so NismoPick you should be proud I did a search and found the answer to part of my questions, here's the link if you dont believe me:
https://www.zdriver.com/forums/showt...80zx+O2+Sensor
Anyways I understand that the 79 does not have an O2 sensor, however my problem is the headers I have from MSA has the hole for an O2 sensor, I purchase one and installed it thinking that it was needed.
My question is, and if you can't answer that is understandable, what type of difficulties will I have when I take my z to get smog, should I remove the O2 and plug the hole with a bolt? Should I leave the O2 in unconnected or should I wait until I can afford a wideband A/F (preferably one the UEGO from AEM) then take her in to get smog?

It shouldn't matter either way as long as the car still passes smog. If it didn't have an O2 sensor before, then it won't matter after. But since Cali is a smog-****, you might want to remove the O2 sensor and cap it so they don't wonder why it's unplugged or not working.
