oxygen sensor
oxygen sensor
Hello
I have an issue. Got the check engine light last week
Codes
P0132 Front O2 Sensor, Bank 1 Rich Shift Monitoring
P0152 Front O2 Sensor, Bank 1 Rich Shift Monitoring.
The oxygen sensors were changed but still won't go away.
Anyone have an idea what could be the cause?
Also what would rich shift monitoring be refering to?

DTC No. P0132: (Bank 1) Air fuel ratio (A/F) sensor 1 circuit high voltage. The A/F signal computed by ECM from the A/F sensor 1 signal is constantly approx. 5V. Possible causes: Harness or connectors (The A/F sensor 1 circuit is open or shorted). Air fuel ratio (A/F) sensor 1 is too rich.
DTC No. P0152: (Bank 2) Air fuel ratio (A/F) sensor 1 circuit high voltage. The A/F signal computed by ECM from the A/F sensor 1 signal is constantly approx. 5V. Possible causes: Harness or connectors (The A/F sensor 1 circuit is open or shorted). Air fuel ratio (A/F) sensor 1 is too rich.
Basically, both of your front sensors (pre-cat) are reading rich. Either The sensors are bad, the wire is cut or burnt, or you are running too rich for some reason.
