My drivers door handle has gotten harder and harder to open from the outside handle. The inside handle works fine. Is there an adjustment or do i need to replace my outside handle? Looks like looking at my parts car it is a trip to get to the handle lever inside. any suggestions? I drive it daily and need to fix it as soon as possible. Haynes didnt seem to help with this.

I had to spray my door handle linkage stuff with silicone lube because it did the same thing...I think that moisture and or humidity rust some of the parts and make them drag a bit. I took off my door panel and sprayed everything I could...it worked...hope this helps.

 

^^^ Yep... gotta take off the interior door panel & take a look. There are plastic couplers at the ends of the rods that you can loosen or tighten to adjust the slack. But a good lube spray will help too.

 

Soaked down interior door panel parts with WD 40, since it was all I had. It did the job. Thanks
