new to the Z family but need help and suggestions

As I previously stated I am new to the Z family. I have and 81 280zx and I want to restore it as much as possible. It is in really good shape. I've done some replacements in the engine, just your wear and tear but now I no idea what else to do. I am a little overwhelmed so I would greatly appreciate and feedback. This is my first post/thread but I am going to be on it more often. Feel free to email me with your feedback michaelchavez22@gmail.com

Thanks again!!

Welcome to ZDriver and to owning a 280zx!

We need more details from you before we can help.
-Please post GOOD pictures of the car (especially trouble areas).
-What is your mechanical / body work skill level? Can you rebuild a car from the ground up?
-How much are you willing to spend? $1k? $5k? $20k?
-Do you have a shop w/ tools and a lift?
-Do you have the time (hundreds / thousands of hours) to dedicate?
-What is the end goal? Restored to stock? Lightly modified? Bat outta hell fast?

Just to keep it real, I've spent about 10 years and close to $20k on my 280zx... and I'm nowhere near finished. Several other members (LWW for one) have MUCH MUCH more time & money into theirs.

Just keepin it real...

Nismo is correct...depends on what you would want to do, and you came to to the right place. These guys are really good at what they are saying (although some of them are crazy as hell )
Welcome to zdriver and enjoy your z, no matter what condition it is in, because the car is the most magnificent kind of all. It is my first z also but I have been in love with z since I understood cars.
I would love to see pictures of your Z

What "it" are you looking for? If you mean parts, check our Where to get parts thread: https://www.zdriver.com/forums/240z-280zxt-s30-s130-tech-tips-275/where-buy-parts-your-280zx-18264/
