This is the 44 series. the chamber looks different, it still has V(resonator?) but it is pretty much a straight through design. I know the turbo cars dont like backpressure. Plus it just sounds sooooo F'n agressive. People always ask if it has a V8 in it.

Bad day for me.

Ok so I just got into a money crunch for right now. I need my car back on the road. The most I can aford to run right now is 2 1/4" to 2 1/2" pipe. So what I want to know is what size is the fact DP? To me it looks 2 1/2" but I could be wrong.

Also how much power will 2 1/2" strait pipe all the way to the back support?

Factory is 2.5" to the cat... I can't remember if it's that same size after.

2.5" is fine for a stock setup. I'm running 2.5" mandrel bent (minus the hump over the rear crossmember), removable cat, & straight through Bullet muffler. And I'm at about 300hp.

Snw always says 3" minimum... but he's just defending his old setup. 3" shouldn't be much more than 2.5" but can make it a bit more of a tight squeeze in some spots.

No my friend that I thought could help says his bender will start to collapse 3" in some of the bends. So I would have to buy like 4 3" elbows and have it cut to what I need. With having to do that and everything else that just popped up I don't have the money or time to mess with it.

So for right now its going to be a 2 1/2" strait pipe to the rear, Unless yall think it would not be to loud to dump under the car? I want that turbo spool sound out of the pipe!!!

Im pulling and blocking the AAC, EGR, and POV.
Drilling a 1" hole in my J pipe and adding a BOV.
Changing the Gasket and fluid in the rearend.
Then all new gaskets on the intake, belts in the front, and fulids all around then the car is going back together and taking me 120 miles round trip to and from work.
What do yall think?

On a happy note, Me and my wife are having another baby

Sounds like a fun Saturday... and congrats!

And dumping right out the downpipe sounds awesome... for the first 30 minutes. For a daily driver it will drive you (and all the people around you) nuts. And exhaust pipes aid in removing heat from the engine bay.

gross a baby! lol jk, congrats

also, dumping under the car like i did will kill you, literally. i got hypemic hypoxia from it one day on a 1hr straight drive. (carbon monoxide poisoning) its really not that fun. it also makes you smell bad

its not that loud, i doubt youd get pulled over for it unless your in a city maybe. but even then the cops got more to worry about in a city than a loud car.

i posted what it might sound like its gonna sound similare to a diesel motor. lol. but a bot more car like, its the bet way to describe it, and i posted vids to of open down pipe, its what your car will sound like for the most part except yours might have a bit more halow of a sound since it will have several more feet of piping to resonate through
