Very nice work, but curious to why not just use the N42. The Turbo runner ID is only bigger by the slightest, especially since you cut it open to port anyway.

Nice work though.

I think TOF was being sarcastic because HE is a Z31 guy.

N42 = expensive & rare (unless you find a j-yard jewel), and I imagine he already had the turbo intake.

I got an N42 non-egr from a local junk yard several years ago for something like $20. Just gotta wait a couple more years and it will be worth it's weight in gold.

Too funny, I just picked one up last Saturday myself. I get very lucky with finding those.

I'm gonna use the P-82, no EGR either.

This was a deal:

I used the Turbo Plenum because I want to be able to bolt all the stock turbo stuff back on for now but get the performance gain from porting. I also had a spare turbo plenum and since I hadn't done one like this before I wanted to keep my good one just in case I screwed this one up

There was a guy on HBZ who would shave / port your intake (you ship it to him) for $200-$300. I don't think he does them anymore though because it's not worth the time. I spent probably 20hrs shaving down my L28ET intake for my S30T swap. I'm sure FricFrac has more than that invested in his.

oh i was just wondering but then again it's probably easier to just custom make one then shave one down.
