Sweet s130 you have there fellow Angelino. lol Looking to get into a s30/s130 myself. As for shops, I've read that there's a Z shop in Whittier called Mike's Z Shop. Never been there myself to be honest but I've read some pretty damn good reviews about it. Might be worth a shot to check it out..

Homeboyx: lol yeah get a z, man I can help you. SO far I've met 2cool guys in Glendale who hook me up with some parts, guide me if I need help with the Oem installation, but they aren't familiar with the new upgrades, and performance mods. And now all the hatchwacks don't bother revving their engines anymore lol.

The front (left in pic) is the vacuum tank. The rear (right in pic) is the vacuum pump. On n/a cars, a vacuum tank is sufficient, but turbo cars need a constant vacuum for the cruise control and climate control. If you are removing the cruise control, and don't care if the vent only blows floor and defrost, you can remove them. If you want you climate control vents to function properly, all that must be hooked up properly.

If you haven't downloaded the FSM for free yet, I suggest doing so: XenonS130 - S130 Reference

Awesome, thanks for the heads up. Let's hope I can work my magic and become an official member officially. Hahaha

That rust on the side skirts is a bit concerning though... Hmm...

It's the Emergency Release Valve aka Pop Off Valve. It opens if boost levels ever get above ~8psi. It's there in case the wastegate fails. If you want to up the boost, it does have to be removed or modified. You unscrew it with a large crescent wrench. And you cap it with a 1" (IIRC) galvanized pipe plug from your local hardware store, or a Z31 intake plug. I have removed it from mine... see my FB / Cardomain pics.
