More Questions!

Has anyone had any luck with the engines you can buy from checker and other auto parts stores?

I was thinking of buying an F54 short block and using my rebuilt P90 head on it With my rebuilt SUs, but I'm not sure how trustworthy the rebuilts from the autopart stores are (I think the engine brands were like Vega auto and I forgot the other...)

Unless you don't have a motor to begin with (I can't remember if that's your current situation), it would be cheaper to rebuild the current block yourself, even if a machine shop did most of the re-assembly for you.

BTW, wanna buy my 280zt?

If you get a reman short block, check the main cap torque and make sure they used assembly lube! if not, take disassemble it and re-assemble it correctly.
