how many catalytic converters do you have you have on your cars? where are they located? especially interested if you have a legal after market exhaust...
also ... will riding on saggy springs hurt your shocks??

All together the Z32 TT comes with 4 cats. You have the pre-cats that are bolted directly to the turbos, then you have your standard cats the are located between the tranny and the differential. The pre cats are used primarily for cold running emissions, so you can remove those and still be smog legal. You'll want to check your state regulations. Depending on what state you are in, you could eliminate the standard cats as well. Check out www.specialtyz.com. They sell test pipes (aka mid-pipes)with and without hi-flow cats. I live in CA which is very strict with exhaust regulations. I'm eliminating the pre-cats with Specialty Z's split down pipes. I'll also install the Specialty Z mid pipes with the hi-flow cats. I don't expect to have aby problems passing smog. Just in case, I'll keep my stock mid pipes + cats. The pre cats do nothing but restrict exhaust flow when the engine is running at temperature.
Saggy springs won't hurt your shocks, but you will experience wear on the inside edge of your tires unless you've installed adjustable front upper control arms. Are your Eibach's sagging already?

the eibachs are sagging, at least in the front. however they were on there when i bought the car, and the front shocks were blown, so im assuming thats what caused the abnormal sagging in the springs. now i have all new konis all the way around, but i still have the saggy springs. and it sags more on the driver side than on the pass side. you can see the difference in the gap between the wheel well and the tire.

thats what its like under my car. each "O" is a cat, and the "M"'s are the mufflers. would i be able to see the pre cats right after the turbos from under the car? i'm concerned that the muffler shop put unnecessary cats on my car. they cut into my stillen exhaust to put 2 cats in there. said it was necessary, where are the factory cats located? i looked underneath of a tt z32 i saw in a parking lot to see if there were big gaudy cats where the shop put mine, and there were not. the z i looked under was stock.
also. what kind of turbos are stock on the z32 tt? what manufacturer? or are they just stock nissan brand turbos. mine looks like it says garrett on them.
i'll try to get some pics of the exhaust setup instead of that crappy diagram, as well as some pics of the turbos..

I hope this could help. This is a part break down of the whole exhaust system. www.300zx.lv/catalog/?gr=C&sec=200 LATER
Get rid of 'em, if it's legal. Are the 1st set of cats that you're showing in your diagram running parallel to the ground, or do they run perpendicular to it? When I say 1st, I mean the 1st set you see looking back from the engine. If they're parallel, then it sounds like you have some kind of jacked-up set of mid pipes. Maybe the previous owner thought it was too loud (unlikely on a turbo, but you never know) and had resonators installed. It sounds pretty lame to me. Check out Specialty Z for some mid-pipe/test-pipe set-ups. They sell good quality stuff.
