well whats the spark part really control on megasquirt. i would say it adds for greater adjustablity, but being msd works great, how much advantage will it serve. keep in mind my 250 rwhp goal

 

Well The Only Thing I Can Think Of Off Hand Is Can You Hook Your Msd Up To A Laptop To Opmtimize Your Spark / Fuel / Air Combo? Msd Give You Better Spark Right? Well Msg Will Do The Same Plus The Tunability Factor.

 

I havent really gotten to use it yet but Megasquirt n Spark has a lot of different features you can mess around with as far as ignition control. And MSD isnt going to have nearly as many features but Im sure you would be fine just using that.

 

if you are going to get mgs then get it with fuel and spark no extra charge for it. you don't have to use it though. Its better to have it and not use it than not have it and want it.

 

Wether or not you are going to full ignition control or not you buy the same ecu. MSnS is just firmware that can be changed at any time for no cost with by simply dowloading it of the MS website.
