I have been having to much trouble trying to get my injector's to fire. So I am just gona start from scratch with a new system. It will be about 2 weeks before i buy a Megasquirt, but i want to do all my home work on it before i go droping 1K into this. Cause after MSll, MSll Realy Board, Wire Harness, Sensor's(Witch is one thing i will need help with) it will reach close to 1K. What sensor's will i need. and what kind of MAF will i need for this?

I can tell you this though: No MAF, it uses a MAP sensor (which is included with most kits). Sensors include: coolant temp sensor, air temp sensor, Throttle position sensor, O2 sensor. If you want to run DIS then you'll need a Crank angle sensor as well.

for now. i am thinkin about the most simple(witch none of it is really all that simple. or quick) way to do a swap and get her runnin.

well MS would give you a fresh start. Just make sure your fuel and ignition are all in tip top shape.

It should come in less than 1k. Megasquirt I with PCB3.0 fully assembled is $330. Megasquirt II is about $100 more.

i was thinkin about MSl. but there are extra things that come with MSII. choices. The finale decision to buy megasquirt won't come till the money for it is saved up. till then i am gona continue to mess with my stock system to see if i can get it workin.

Fubar... you going turbocharged? Just my opinion, but you won't see too much "bang for your buck" MegaSquirt'ing an na L28....

i won't be lookin for a huge performance gain by goin mega squirt. Just a freash start. and i like the fact of connecting a computer(PC) to it and tuning it. But main reasion is a freash start. And upgrade option's help for future add on's. as well as updateing the car. and Geting rid of the huge MAF. Plus the idead of a stand alone system.

There is a software program available for MS1 that allows you to incorporate most of the features currently available for MSII. Plus you get the tried and true MS1. I think the program is called MSnS-E. But I could be mixing it up. It's worth looking into and would save you some money. The software is free to download.

Well. The mega Squirt might have to wait for me. I might have a trip coming up, I see that as a optertunity to study more. But i think i am deff goin with a MS system. and maby a turbo donor car. Hummmm.
