Have you looked in the Zdriver marketplace? Also try www.ebay.com , www.craigslist.com , www.autotrader.com or any other local classifieds. Our member Dorifto is tossin his 280zx... but um, he's out here in Utah.

... you don't want my Z. Unless you want something to tube-frame and put a fiberglass remake body of a Z on it.

 

Hey thanks Dorifto and NismoPick for the info. 10 days after my post and after several years of looking around for just the right 280zx to rebuild I came across one in Clarksville Tennessee (about 2 hrs from my home). It needs quite a bit of work but is what I was looking for. I will post a picture of it soon. Thanks again for the help. Im sure my weekends will be filled with salvage yard excursions as well as web searches for rubber seals, moldings, t-tops, seats etc.

 

Is it a turbo? If you can I would suggest finding a Turbo model, unless that is not what you're looking for.

 

Would have loved to have a turbo but I was delighted to just find one in relatively good condition after a few years of searching around in my area of the country. Might turbo it at a later date.

I found one of my Z's in a junk yard. another is a repair shop. Found two more (N/A, and a Turbo) in another junk yard, ain't got them. But hoping maby some day, That turbo looks great. Found a 77 280Z down the road a bit, (freind now own's it) and found a 80 280ZX slick top at another junk yard, (freind now own's it too) Back when i was searching for a 280ZX, I could not find one for nothin, gave up. about a year later ran into 2 of them. One had weed's growing all around it, and some in it. I now own that one. And love it. No one around me had ever heard of a 280ZX till i brought one home. now ppl around me own them also. I was freaked out when my pearnt's told me they had one back in the day. And I was brought home from the hospital (when i poped out) in a 82 280ZX T-Top N/A.

i just picked up a 1981 280zx turbo auto tranny with only 60,000 miles on it needs an new ingtion but looks sweet !!!! white exterior red interior ill sell it to u for only 1,500 dollars let me know ... if not i will be keeping it

sweet. Theres another crazy ******* there with a 280ZX turbo. It was all stripped out. just a seat, steering wheel, and shifter coming up outta the floor. I raced him one night in my 350Z, and from a roll, he was right with me... Clovis.. heh.

 

yes i know that crazy *** hole his name is ADAM LUCAS he drives a grey exterior black and grey interior 280zx turbo 2 seater yes i helped him degut his car and i helped tune his car up and yes his car was pretty fast until he met his match agaisnt a white super charged camero.. i guess it pushed adam to the side and adam side swiped the curb and bent the hell out of his right rear wheel and messed up his arms and a few other parts.. never the less i helped him fix his car up.. again... 2 months later he got arrested for DUI and his mom told me to do what ever i had to do to make sure that adam couldnt drive the car any more so i pulled the old sneeky lol never the less yes i do live in clovis new mexico and yes i own 4 nissan cars now ( proud owner of nissan cars only ) hit me up on yahoo mesneger whitetiger88101 i got yahoo mesenger

 

wow, thats awesome man. yeah I will never forget adam and I were right there on prince st., where main st. runs it to it, and a cop drove by, then the light turned green and we gunned it, I was already past hastings, and adam was still burning out at the stop light! he finally got traction, but the cop got to him before he could get anywhere! haha the last thing he said to me was "CLEVELAND'S CRAZY.... BUT SO IS LUBBOCK!!!" i was like "....okay."

hey do you know Terry and Amanda? I used to hang out with them, and their Evo's. I don't see how I never met you. My best friend (Todd) has a black Z32 twin turbo'd, that we used to race through clovis. thats been about a year ago. We were both @ cannon for a while. I had one of the only 2 350Z's there at that time.

haha I swear that adam was on speed that night. he was like "yes! see turbo! yes! i listen to techno, i dont know what it is! doo doo doo dee doo dee doop! yes!"

hey dude its me again and good morning im the guy who would cruise main st fri and sat in my white 300zx 2+2 some times i would stop and talk to the ( racers ) parked at SOLAR SHEILD that little place by the court house yea yea i also know who amanda is the one with the blue WRX ive seen her and her car around i never stoped to talk to her... well im kinda still shy about woman =-) im a good guy and now back to adam lucas adam now drives a 2002 mustang gt i told adam i refuse to work on his mustang for him... so him and i arnt on good terms right now, but i did ask his mom if she would sell me adam 280zx turbo she said yes last night for 1,500 dollars .. by the way adam doesnt.. do speed if u know what i meen he likes green tea ;-) but yea im drug free thats the way to be =-) but yea i know a few people who drive z32 in this t own one guy named JASON who droves a 1990 300zx 2 seater that was really a non turbo but got his turbo swaped in some place in roswell... i think i know todd he drove the 1990 300zx non turbo black with drill sloted rotors ?but yea hey im reduing the interior on my 1982 280zx turbo so hey i got o go ill be posting new pictures up soon peace out yall
