Looking For 280 To Restore

My wife and I had a 280z back in 82 and now, out of old age I guess (haha), want another one. We love these cars and the fact that their are alot of people that still appreciate them. Please PM or email me if you know of anyone selling a 280z, 280zx, 280zx turbo or 280zx 2+2 (turbo). LOCATION DOESN'T MATTER!!!

Thanks!

Plus the one you found in the Marketplace area. That one in Arizona looks clean.

OKAY!!! LOL... Let me rephrase that.. The SOUTWEST is the best place to buy Z's due to the amount available for cheap and there is no rust on the MAJORITY of them... Every time I order a used part from the east coast I always gotta pull out the wire brush and rustoleum paint

I'll sell you mine for 12 grand... all you'll have to do is drive it.

No restore required. It's already sapped my wallet with that endeavor.

Come to think of... 15K or no deal

Most of the value is in that NISMO license plate frame. We had a long discussion on those racing frames.

Okay ... here goes.

A good friend of mine will probably be selling his '82 280ZX 2+2 slicktop. The car is tan, with tan/brown interior, in decent shape [it's all there, just some cracks and wear spots]. Engine is a built, ported, balanced N47 block/head combo from a '77 280Z, and an MSA 6-2 header - the engine has less than 3 miles on it. Car comes with stock 14" 6-spoke wheels, and rides on old-school 15" Keystone Slot wheels and fresh rubber. Car is legal, just not registered. He's asking $2000 firm, and he's got a lot more into it than that. We're in Orem, Utah, by the way. I'll see if I can get some pics sent your way, if you'd like.

Also, if you want a real time-consuming project, I'll sell you my '81 280ZX 2+2 for $400. You'll find elsewhere on this site some info about it, and my previous endeavors to sell it [which I keep overturning ].

Not to outdo dorifto, but I REALLY need to get rid of my zx, If you can take care of shipping, I'll sell it to you for anything you wanna offer. It's taking up space and I am moving out of state soon. BIG problem. Not to mention I live in a deed restricted communitty and I'm not even allowed to work on the car without getting fined. It's ridiculous. I hate florida. Note..I got the car from Ga, When I got it, there was virtually no rust in the body, sense a LITTLE has accumulated. Not any holes, very minor...If you'd like I'll sand it off and do a little bit of body work for you. Quality work...Matching 6 spoke wheels, in decent condition, The car runs, but needs to be put back together, Needs new interior, I have alot of the parts, and redid them, they look allright. Needs seats. basically needs to be restored. Comes with monster tach by autometer(That thing costs 175 new) and I'd probaly take less then that for the whole car.

What year is your ZX? I'm assuming it's a 2-seater, correct? I don't know how much shipping would be to get a car to Utah from Florida ...

I would definitely take you up on your offer, but I'm poor right now [start a new job on Saturday].
