Angry LA cops say crush street racer's cars

Here is the link http://www.news.com.au/dailytelegrap...007132,00.html

Yeh well I'm no street racer but might I say to the LA cops, sort your own mess out before advising others what they should do. Like crack houses and no go areas of LA

Bunch of gay boys if you ask me, ooh real crime is soooo hard, lets pick on something easy and then make out how wonderful we are. How do you LA people put up with this nonsense? If you want it keep it, we have enough problems of our own without importing yours.

its not if you get cot street racing, if you get got racing with stolen parts on your car, in CALI anyway, i got got chasing a porsche doing 153 in a 70 and most cops just dont wanna deal with all the BS like court paper work and the like, unless your act like a ricer and get cought with like nitrous or the idiots who take all the smog stuff off their cars to gain the 10HP, you shouldnt really worry about them taking your car..

street racing if done the right way can be VERY safe, the idiots who crash during a race are people who either have no clue what they are doing or drive over their limits, every street racing accident i have seen was from a stupid driver, there is very rarely a true "accident" but street racing aint what it used to be, cars are just cars they can be replaced and rebuilt, i honestly would kill myself if i killed another person in a street race..

its fine to crush the ppls cars who are actually street racing, and caught doing it, thats why there are racetracks, and some, like my local one, offers friday night drag racing, tons of passes for 20 bux. in ontario canada right now, they are crushing cars that even look sporty. if you put wheels on a cavalier, or honduh, they will impound and crush it. dont even think about body kits. now to that i say its a wee bit harsh, i think a car is kinda some ppls pallet to draw on. and customizing that is one thing, but it doesnt mean that there gonna race.

their are people fighting(lawyers are winning back cars) this sayings is unlawful for the govt to crush your property. even though driving is a privilege does not make it right to destroy your property.

The guy in the 350Z probably crashed on the way to the races because he was talking on his cell and couldn't drive at the same time.

its easier said then done for going to a race track, not only that if you like only driving 5 laps on a crowded track full of slow *** honda's and assorted vehicles while spending $500 in the process.

Tracks are over rated. I hate the whole take it to a track thing. Half the people don't know what there doing anyways. Last time I went to LVMS, I got told I couldn't drive around the water box. I tried to explain I was AWD, and the idiot working the lanes said to me, just burn the water off. I politly told him AWD don't do burn outs, they grab and go. That's why you have AWD.I eventually got kicked off the track anyways. And they don't prep the track correctly unless there is a big event. I've seen alot of people get squirly on the big end.

I dont plan on street racing any time soon but I can see why some do it. For me its over an hour drive to the closest 1/4 mile and thats a lot of gas money for a young kid.

is300? how the hell did you get kicked? at my track if you run sub 13.7 you need a helmet. sub 12's i think you need a cage. and you get a warning first.
