Alrighty..
So I went to go buy that clutch I was telling y'all about.
The Fidanza flywheel is almost brand spankin new.
But the actual clutch disc.. It's a stage 2 something, I forgot. But the guy I bought it from said it was fine. Pulled apart the assembly and the front face is nice and clean still, but the bottom side is missing three of the eight pucks. Like really?
****ing **** man.
Should I run that clutch or just buy a new disc and call it a day

no idea.. haha

Got my new/used clutch in.
OEM Turbo flywheel, Centerforce stage 1 clutch
Also has a fidanza N/A lightway flywheel with a broken stage 2 center force clutch, maybe save that for the future..

Anyways, drove about 70 miles on the clutch, starting to grab ****ing awesome now.
Guessing you still have to break in a clutch that has 400 miles of use on it lol

Pulls GREAT at 8 psi however. Some randome ss camaro was toying with me on the highway, twas funny seeing him **** himself at fireballs.

Anyways, car runs good, AMSOIL 75w-90 in the trans, smoother than glass. Loving it.

Mind you this is my friend's place..
lucky bastard....

Thinking about making a relocation pipe to mount the turbo behind the headlight, or near it.

reason? just because
+ I wanna run an external waste gate

Hurm... more heat at the front of the engine bay? Makes sense...

If you want to remote turbo, do it like STS... mount it at the back. Lots more turbo scream too.

You realize turbos work from the expansion of the exhaust gases/thermal energy. The further you get from the manifold the less energy you'll have to harness....

Ceramic coat, heat wrap, etc.
There are ways to counteract that yeah?

I'd be more than happy to be able to fit a bigger turbo but with a ball/pinion type steering I can't because of clearance issues. And besides, a bunch of my friend's have stock exhaust manifolds with re-routed/relocation pipes and they're making well over 600whp on stock ls1's at 6 pounds of boost.
Either do all of that nonsense or just pull off my stock manifold and drill a hole than port the ****er and what not, my friend said it was no cake-walk and I have no time for that nonsense.

Also, how do the Z31's go along with relocation pipes and still make 300+rwhp?

So I ran a 13.3 on street tires with no tread at like 30 psi.
pretty sure I have a small boost leak somewhere, the boost needle doesn't stay consistent lol but 8 pounds on a centerforce clutch burning through second is fun!

I couldn't hook for **** but first time at a drag, had some fun for my birthday!
Now I need a passenger door though.. Got hit on the way home...

I sent one to the dump last year...

Shipping would probably cost $200, so I suggest looking local.

Still running strong on that NA Maf and NA tune on turbo injectors! (knock on wood)

I recently got some decent offset wheels, 15x8 I believe -10 or -15 offset.
Doesn't say but I got some huge angle gains just from these alone.
I still have to remove one of the steering stoppers on the driver side control arm. I drilled out the passenger and have retarded amounts of angle.
Me gusta.. Haven't drifted yet though

That is an awesome wall drift video man! The angle of those tires is crazy too but i guess youd need it for drifting. Amazing thread all in all.

Thank you veddy much
Uhg I am in a bind.
Just started this new job and recently I've been able to do my alignments and what not.
I got my alignment set good and a few days ago it seems like my rear right control arm just decided to bend itself. Out of nowhere you can see it has noticable amount of toe on it and it's causing my alignment to be out of ****ing wack!

Any insight or help would be very appreciated

Raaaawrr I haven't been on here in a bit. I absolutely love everything I see in this thread.
The zx is a awesome chassis to drift, I can't wait to see more of your pics/video. My damn family life is cutting into my precious S130 time. Hah I need to do L28ET swap soon.

What wheels are those?
