Injector problem?

I have a popping in the sixth cylinder and when I disconnect the injector it goes away. Does this mean the injector is bad or maybe the plug?

Well... you could always do what I told you to do in your other thread: Check the spark plug tips to see what's going on. Help me help you.

Is the sparkplug wet? With fuel? Oil?
Dry? Is it white? Black?

Let's try simple...

Maybe a sparkplug... maybe a sparkplug wire... maybe an injector... maybe a sticky valve...

Though by disconnecting an injector, it should lower the rpm and lose power.

when i disconnect it it doesn't change much, but it runs prefect under 50% plus acceleration...i checked all the plugs regapped them and adjusted the tps today runs a little better but still the popping and also a brand new fuel pump which did help...I mean its only a problem at idle and constant rpms under about 2500...cuz it still ran a 16.01 bone stock earlier tonight..i just think the injector doesn't put enough into the 6th cylinder unless the fuel pump is forcing it through...it sounds almost like it has a cam the way its missing and if i didn't hear that popping i would think it did

well just fixed most of the problem...the p.o. had two of the plug wires switched...still a very small miss and i think that it is the injector because i cleaned and adjusted the afm today and it is doing fine except for the small miss

OK another question. I want to replace all of my injectors. What size injectors (cc rating) should i get to run 10 psi on a z31 ecu? I want to go aftermarket.

spark plugs? well your going to need an engine hoist, sledge hammer, a pair of pliers, a stethoscope, some KY jelly, some matches, and a mazda miata...

or you could just use a spark plug socket... or even a regular deep well socket if your desperate....

EDIT**** make that 2 mazda miatas and "for her pleasure" KY jelly... noob mistake on my part :P
