I am really fascinated by the 280ZX guys!!
I have only been on forums with Z31's. This is the first time I have mixed with ZX'rs. My first Z was a 1980ZX 2+2. Since then it has been 300ZX's. After all these years (22) to see that there are guys still fixing them up, maintaining and driving these cars is to me an amazement! I give you so much credit for keeping them alive! I am fascinated looking at the posts and pictures..Almost makes me want to go out and get one. Never say never..but I'll keep checking you guys out!

The trend these days seems that forums are just used for info / data archiving, and activity ("I need a question answered now!") is moving more and more to FB.

Thx cool stuff.. I don't know if there has been any discussion about not being able to accept anything after Z31 as a true blooded Z. Personally, I just cannot buy into the newer gens.
I always loved the way the 280ZX hood opened, like my older brother's Jag! The lines in the back were also like the Jag XKE. I could tell the sound of my ZX from far away. When I'd park it in a lot, I always knew when it was coming down. People would look at me in awe..like how'd you know? The straight 6 engine sound..still recognize it!

Donn: Under 'Reply' or 'Quick Reply' window, click "Go Advanced." Enter message and then under message window, see 'Attach Files' block, click 'Manage Attachments.' Browse to locate & select fotos to upload, click 'Upload.' Enter message. Click 'Submit Reply' at bottom (I think...)

I got picture of that:
A few days before my first child was born, I was getting Pizza after I came home from work..and did not see an f'in minivan crossing the street. I hit is at no more than 5 MPH.. It was another 3.5 years till I got my first 300ZX.
16 years later a dump truck took me out! Ouch!
2 years ago I bought and almost exact duplicate of my 88 NA 2+2..
my current 87 2 seater NA.
I know better than ever how to care and baby the car now!
Also have the 84AE I barely ever drive. Got 39K almost mint.
Oh, BTW..my marriage 18 year later wound up similar to my 280ZX on the trash heap.
