got her running again...sorta

Well everything went back together ok.

Idles smooth, no leaks, no unusual noises.

When I drove her a Toyota tercel would woop my ***.....slooow excelleration?wtf?

injectors 1 and 6 arent firing.....

Used 9v battery and pigtail to all injectors.
#1 didn't click....new injectors all.
all others clicked.

pulled fuel rail, checked #1 injector, click, click, click...everytime I used the battery? wtf?

pull #1 and #6 plug wires, no change

pull any of the other plug wires, stumble right off the bat.

#1 didn't click when it was installed, did right away out of the car?

any ideas?

I would start by answering this question:

Something is going on w/ the wiring, or ecu signal to that sensor. You did the JWT ecu upgrade yourself?

all injector connectors are new.
as well as
all new sensors everywhere on the engine, including the oil pressure sensor connected to a new nissan oil tube to the turbo.
everything to get a clear signal to the ecu.

You did the JWT ecu upgrade yourself right? Did you use their instructions?

If injectors 1 & 6 aren't firing, but you have confirmed that they do pulse out of the car, then I suggest checking continuity on those wires. Get a milti-meter, set to Ohms, pull the injector plug, install a jumper between the two metal connectors inside the plug, and check @ the ecu.

Did you solder the new injector harness? Did you label them all so they don't get mixed up? How about some close up pics of your engine so we can see what's going on?

was thinking simularly along those lines. I hate to pull everything out. I had to wire in dropping resistors to all six injector wires, then swap out 2 and 5 per jwt instructions, there might be the problem there since I did that over 2 years ago.
I'll pull the harness and unwrap all the tape yada yada yada.
thanx very much,

kenny jim bean went home.
