Gear Box Rebuild?

My power Steering gear box blow something, now it will not hold any fluid. so far I have not been able to find a rebuild kit for it around here. It seems none of the local parts house even care the gear box.

Do "you" know of anyone who sells a rebuild kit for a 2/80?

You forgot to enter your year/model/engine/tranny, etc. So people just skip your post.

See of you can locate replacement part(s) at car-part.com Sort your results by distance from your zipcode and you may be able to drive to the recycler yourself and hand-select your parts right there on the lot.

PowerSteering Box Leaking

The only place to find a rebuild kit would be your Nissan dealer. I got one from my local dealer; was lucky, they said it was the last one in stock. I can supply the Part # if you need it.

more reliable to get it rebuilt. 200 bucks last I checked. unless you are a knowledgeable wrench with hydraulic experience I'd get a rebuilt. look on line places got em just need shipping. look around your area for hydraulic shops. the rebuild kit contains standard parts. nissan used what was commercially available they didn't go into the business of making seals and bearings. they make cars. or junkyard and hope

if you can find a rebuild shop take the unit off the car. take it to them and then go get it. this will save you a good bit of money. since you are in arkansas I'd check around to see who does tractor hydraulics might find someone that way.
