Worth a try right? I thought about trying that a little later on my '82 slicktop. Because I did blow the gasket, I am pretty sure. But I think the internals are still intact. Anyway good luck, and let us know how it went. We are pulling for you bro'.

 

I'm working on it. I took some stuff off to get it out of my way like the dizzy, radiator, and fan.

Ok a little unnerving... My power steering fluid is neon yellow...

Regular power steering fluid is yellowish to clear, that's at least what is not supposed to be used in the Nissan stuff. Or at least my manual for my Z31 and the Z32 use ATF.

 

I think most power steering systems take ATF, that's what my dad said to put in my Firebird's pump, and he made it sound like it was a dumb question when I asked what to put in it lol

 

I know. so I'll flush it out here soon atm Im saving up to get the parts and to get the head checked out
