#1... Clean (degrease) the engine. It's a lot easier to tell what's going on with a clean engine.

#2... You don't need to replace the connection unless it's broken or corroded to the point it can't provide the signal to the injector.

#3... An injector seal kit won't fix a leaky injector... the injector itself is leaking & must be replaced.

Have you run some good fuel injector cleaner through the system yet? BG K44 in half tank of gas will do wonders for the injectors & engine.

On #1, good suggestion. Any degreaser you can suggest or just any good old engine degreaser will do?
On #2, ok, but I was just wondering..since I may be replacing injectors...why not do the whole thing while I'm at it?

Yes, I tried a fuel injector cleaner and not much difference.

I use degreaser from AutoZone called "Purple Power" (purple something anyway). It works very well.

If you're into cutting & soldering good wires for fun, the replace the connections.

"A fuel injector cleaner?" Which? There are many bogus ones.

I dont see any evidence that supports a leaking injector or a leaking seal. I do however see, from what I can see from those pics, what looks to be a leaky hose connection at the injector. I could be wrong as those pics arent the best but that's what I see.

Ok, here are some better pictures - http://www.nomoredata.com/misc
If you look at Picture 003 you'll see the 'wet top' portion of the injectors.
On Picture 004, the injector on the rigt also has a 'wet top' and Picture 002 the left and right injectors have it too; the one in the middle it's rusted I think.
And on picture 001 you can see that 'silver glue' that was added to the mounts; maybe to protect them for something?

So, from these pictures; what do you guys think needs to be replaced or fixed?

Well the injectors are plastic so they aren't going to rust. Which means the hose clamp is probably rusting and that made it leak and the fuel ran the rust down onto the injector.

My advice to you would be to head down to autozone or a similar parts chain and order up a set of injector seals, pick up some hi pressure fuel line and get enough hose clamps to clamp both ends of all the fuel lines from the rail to the injectors. While you're there you might as well pick up some electrical cleaner (the stuff designed to remove oxidation) and get a one of those eye glass repair kits with the tiny flat head screwdriver, and some dielectric grease. Spray down contacts of all the connectors and injectors and use the little screwdriver to scrape off any stubborn corrosion (green stuff) and then spray them all out good. Cut your fuel line to length and clamp it all into place and reinstall your fuel rail/injectors. Then before you reconnect your connectors seal them up with some dialectric grease.

And you might as well get some engine cleaner and clean up all the gunk up and around the injectors.

That should do you up good for relatively little money.

I went ahead and bought this already ( http://shop.nissanpartstore.com/wiza...2dcd04ecdcb643 ) ....these are the injectors seal kit.
As for the injector conectors, I know you're trying to save me a few bucks , but my **** retentive self won't be happy knowing that the rubber covers are not in good shape. So, I don't mind spending a bit of money on these ( http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchan...de=24079-7583Z ) or something a bit cheaper if I can find them. I saw these on eBay ( http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT ) but I don't know if these will do it.

Btw, thanks so much for your help.

I got my injector connectors on ebay and I had no problems. I wish I could remember the selleres name The ones you linked to on ebay are exactly what you need.

And I know what you mean. My connectors weren't even in that bad of shape but I figured while I'm redoing everything else I might as well replace those.

n00blar's fuel leakage looks similar to my problem. Anyway in advance, after you've changed all your fuel hose and stuff on the injectors. Make sure you install all the injectors into the car, then put the rail in and just work with getting all the hoses connected to the rail. It'll save you alot of time and frustration.

A little lubricant really helps in getting the lines on. A little motor oil or WD-40 will go a long way into making life easier.

Yes that is the same seller, I dealt with for my connectors. But I used those on other spots, instead of my fuel injectors. I got some sweet aftermarket injector clips. That have a quick release, and will be easier to take off, when you need to. www.zcarparts.com. Go there, and get them, they are $8.95 a piece, and well worth it. Believe me bro'

Volvo uses those connectors too. I grabbed a few of them at the pick n pull a while back and used those on my NA. For my turbo though I just got the direct replacement cause i got them for so cheap.
