Figured out starting issue, maybe?

okay so tonight my Z fired up.....it is about 20 degrees warmer though. Checked my cold start valve cleaned it up and started the car. Problem is my car is acting lean when i press on the gas until it is warmed up. I hear the fuel pump as usual, but when it is now at operating temperature and idling and 1000rpm...the fuel pump makes a whirring/whining sound.....could this be the issue to my cold start problem....do fuel pumps start going out and not want to start in cold weather?

chts often the cause of weird problems between hot and cold. Vacuum leak another possibility. put a gauge on it. get your fuel pressure at the ring. listening to the pump tells you little.

CHTS Cylinder Head Temperature Sensor It is located on the passenger side of the head. Check the connector and contacts. Also if you want, you can check the voltage. I don't know what it is though. Mine have always worked.

No hes refering to the head temp sensor on the passenger side of the engine by the number 5 & 6 spark plugs. Is your AFM working? Check your fuel pressure and filter.

Check spark, fuel and air...
