Electical Help Need

I have an 83 280zx turbo. Something is killing the battery. I am looking for a schematic, plus any suggestion.

The positive to starter looks like its had some resistance. It's melted some. The other side of the positive goes into a box, I think to run other things. I can pull the battery and it charges well, in the car the charger tells me the battery is bad.

The car use to be my dad's, he gave to my brother, and now me.

Take the car to your local parts store and have them perform a load test on the battery & alternator.

Also check the door pins. If they get stuck on, that will drain the battery.

look for the obvious stuff, those small usb phone chargers if left in the cigarette lighter can drain the batter in a few weeks even if nothing is plugged in. just an idea

Get a multi meter that measure's current. Disconnect the battery terminal and put the meter in series and see if there is any current draw when the car is off....
