I was thinking along the same lines. Either that ignitio module or your coil. Might as well replace both. Get a used ignition module, and a new coil.

sudden death

One of two things, Ignition module or fuel pump.
Either will cost you dearly, the last fuel pump I purchased was $225.00 and the Ignition module was $235.00.

If the pum won't have fuel pump is going out you won't have pressure when it stalls (loosen the fuel line CAREFULLY)

If its the Ignition module you won't have spark.

Don't waste your time replacing the coil unless its leaking oil, I have only seen two faulty coils in the last thirty years.
