Check ECU Codes Yourself
Im not sure if this has been posted before... but searching through random sites about z's I came accross this interesting little page...
http://www.ttzd.com/tech/diagnostictech.html
Its how to use the ECU diagnostic mode yourself instead of taking it to a dealer and spending $$$

ECU Diagnostics
I went to the link on ECU Diagnostics and read the procedure. It noted that some, but not all of the ECU readings will also cause the 'Check engine' light to come on.
Since I have never had the 'Check engine' light to come on, does this mean that all of the components which would cause the light to come on are working properly, or not?
I apologize for all the questions, but most of the experience I have had was on older cars... and I am fairly new at diagnosing electronically controlled engine components, so I do appreciate your patience with me.
Thank you all for your help on this
