Here are some pics of what i'll have done. they are at a graffix place on base now being made. the yellow is a see through yellow so you'll still be able to see the lights. they are like a vinyl covering.

Again, I hate to say it... but if you get your car painted the way you want it, those guages will look really good. Nice work man.

Same here Skittle, I really can't stand green or yellow. But you are making them look desirable. Mad props to you man, that Z is going to look killer, and verry unique. When you get done with it, great work bro'

Umm as long as it is the contrasting color, I think it might work....green car yellow ghost stripe.

I'm thinkin' a darker green ghost stripe running off-center to the passenger side would look killer!

Right on top of the hood, like Bleach's rising sun hood.

there is a file out there somewhere with 280ZX gauges already. People were printing them out years ago and selling them on eBay

I would just say make some white face gauges and use green backlighting for at night.

Maybe I missed it but, are you carrying this scheme over onto the three pod guages as well?

i have not decided yet. those are a little more cumebersome. Only the oil pressure one works and i put that on a a-piller. So as of now i might just leave them be.

Now that is tight... but will any of it be visible at night? I assume you'll be taking off the orange bulb covers? Thas what I did anyway.... makes the gauges less colorful, but more visible.

I was thinking of adding some white lights instead of the orange ones, or put in some LED's. I love the look of the 240z on the bottom. It sort of gives the recognition to its preddisessor. (Sp?) You get my drift.
