bushing replacement

I know i'm not the only one htat uses the energy suspension polyurethane bushings because otherwise they wouldn't make them if they wern't selling.. so, has anyone on here installed them in their Z i got the sway bar fine... but i'm stuck on the contol arms the bushings that are for the front control arm seem a little too small but than it looks like htere is a sleeve inside the control arm. I'm jsut wondering if anybody can help me out on how to get the suspension back together so i can drop the motor in without suspension problems.

You have to cut the stock bushings out of the front control arms, or press them out. I used a sawsall & just slowly cut through till I could push them out.

The rubber bushing or the metal sleeve has to be cut out?

The stock bushings are molded to that outter sleeve, so you have to cut them both out. The new bushing should actually be larger than the stock one, because you take out the sleeve.

Peep it, #1 get your self a torch, melt that rubber bushing out. #2 when it gets hot enough take a hammer and some sort of a punch and knock the inner race out. #3 use the sawzall, I use a burl bit and a pneumatic die grinder and carefully remove the outer race, then punch that out with a flat head screw driver. Now grease the hell out of your new bushings before you install them, there is nothing more annoing than squeaky susspension, then repeat three more times.
