I THINK IT HAS TO BE MORE THAN ONE LINE OF JUST PURE TYPING:
LIKE THIS ONE TIME IN 3RD GRADE, I CHEATED ON MY HISTORY EXAM. IN 4TH GRADE I STOLE MY UNCLE MAX'S TOUPEE AND I GLUED IT ON MY FACE WHEN I WAS MOSES IN MY HEBREW SCHOOL PLAY! IN 5TH GRADE, I KNOCKED MY SISTER EDIE DOWN THE STAIRS & BLAMED IT ON THE DOG.
edit... DAMN! I HAD IT WORKING... THEN EDITED IT!

Alright masses of peer pressure, there is currently one coat of white paint on the manifold. I'm thinking of doing three coats. My gaskets are finally here for the turbo...
There really isn't all that much left to assemble on this engine.

Thats what happens, post a little progress on the forum and you get pressured to do MORE

...threw on the second coat of paint before heading off to work this morning.
After the engine is in the Z, I'm not done with the 280ZX quite yet! This thing has been falling apart the last 8 years that I've been driving it. I've got suspension, wheels/tires, carpet, seats, sound system, keyless entry, bodywork, and paint to do.
Then my truck, then the Fairlady Z. I plan to cash in on some real estate investments this year so I might just be buying the paint jobs. Those seem to take way too long doing them myself.

I still think you should have left it rust colored. You know the amount of trouble you started now. Now the rest of the car will hate you. It's like sibling rivalry. Why does the motor get all the attention. Says the interior, we'll see who doesn't like gauges?? Stop the madness!!!!

Oh ya, I'm going to dissasemble those babys and polish up the lip real good before I buy the tires for them. White face indiglo gauges like the ones some cool guy posted a video of. Boost gauge probably on the a-pillar... even though I'm not a big fan of gauges way up there... lowered, wicked stiff rear Mercedes suspension, finish the MSA bodykit, 350Z Brickyard paint, 6x9s in the doors, 12" sub in back, CRX si seats. ya, Honda seats. hehe...
Not sure yet on the hood. I'm still thinking of doing a small air scoop right over the factory turbo scoop and then shaving the other vent so the hood has a more smooth look with no 'vents'
Of course, no emblems on the car anywhere. not even a Turbo emblem. sneaky sneaky...
